All Northwest Arkansas Heart Gallery Children are legal wards of the State of Arkansas and currently reside under the care of State-Licensed Foster Homes within Arkansas. When a reference is given that the birth parent’s rights have been terminated, it means that the child’s birth parents are no longer legally responsible for the child. There are several reasons why this takes place, but many adoptive families find this situation favorable because more attention can be focused on the potential relationship and adoption.
Although the supporters of the Heart Gallery have real-world experience in supporting and adopting children, both privately and as foster parents, we are not an adoption agency or facilitator.

Most families will find the foster parenting (to adopt) process an informative and rewarding process that prepares both child and the new family for a loving lifelong relationship.
